Zhang Hongbao Released, Saying “Beat Beijing Regime”

Temporary Grant for Residence and Work   Democratic Dissidents Say it was Related to the Plane Crash

World Daily New York reporter Zeng Huiyan reported:

Chinese Continent Qi Gong organization Zhonggong founder Zhang Hongbao, after being jailed in Guam for 15 months, was suddenly released unconditionally on 17th. The democratic dissidents here pointed out that, Zhang’s release resulted from the change in China-US relationship which was caused by the US-China military plane crash incident. Before this incident, Clinton administration not only rejected his application for political asylum but also kept him in jail and didn’t allow for a bail.

According to Zhonggong member Yan Qingxin, Zhang is going to attend the hearing for his political asylum in US on 24. Zhang was released on 17th, and US government allowed him to stay and work in US.

Zhang went to Guam in January last year to seek for political asylum after Zhonggong was banned by CCP in the Continent.
