Zhang Hongbao’s Hunger Strive Protest (No. 2)

At high noon of Dec. 15th, 2000 at Guam

1. Yesterday a prison police sent me to sixth region for grave criminals when we passed only three of five successive iron gates, I was noticed suddenly to stop moving and to return to the cell I lived in originally.
At 3 o’clock this morning, all the Chinese prisoners were moved into a new simply constructed jail which has been already completed for several months but hasn’t been started using, the circumstances have shown some improvements. I am gratified a little at this. I have seen the difference between America and China.

2. In order to strive for further improving prison present state, I’ll continue my hunger strike.

3. I’ll transfer the stress of my hunger strike to striving for being discharged from prison. I hope that Clinton’s Government gives me a distinct answer.
