We felt very uneasy when we read some rebukes from
the web site of The North American Forum for Freedom, such as “where have all
the people of Zhong-Gong gone?” We impulsively suggested to the Master that we
should take some action.
The Master said gently over the phone, “They might be people who feel the
injustice done to us and want to help. They might also be people who don’t quite
understand us. But they might also be people who are trying to agitate goad us
into action. Tell everyone not to act rashly anyway. We mustn’t make any move
without a long-term thinking. I am willing to take the insults on my own in
exchange for everyone’s safety.”
We were speechless. We couldn’t find the words to tell the Master how moved and
amazed we are. The Master, who is still in jail, has swept away our impetuosity
