Meijing News Agency reporter Tian Mingxin reported on April 24: Pasadena Star
Daily and World Journal said, by April 22nd, five felonies among all the
accusations involved in Zhang Hongbao “Kidnapping Case” which has been a tangled
lawsuit for 3 years had been dropped. The five felonies were charged by He
Nanfang, accusing Zhang of kidnapping, fatal weapon attack, illegal
imprisonment, threatening other people and preventing the witness from reporting
to police. The prosecuting party asked for a deal, that “small guilt” would be
used as the reason of the case and Zhang Hongbao would agree not to contest.
Both parties agreed. At this point, Zhang Hongbao “Kidnapping Case” enters 3rd
stage, waiting for the final decision by the judge on Oct. 14.
The legal definition of “not contest” in USA is, not to say to be guilt or not;
it is a compromise before the trial. No contest simply means compromising for
the accused. It doesn’t contest guilty or not.
Zhang Hongbao’s no contest is obviously a compromising strategy. It will
sabotage CCP’s serial acts aiming to destroy Zhang Hongbao. There are four other
serial cases following He Nanfang’s serial cases: Yan Qingxin serial cases, Liu
Junguo serial cases, Zhang Qi serial cases and Ye Ning serial cases. All these
serial cases thus became meaningless, since all these four serial cases were
just thrown in to add weight to He Nanfang serial cases, aiming to extradite
Zhang Hongbao back to China. Now the leading He Nanfang serial cases are
dissolved by Zhang Hongbao and things started to look good to Zhang Hongbao. It
is not hard to imagine that this news is a heavy blow to the designers of Zhang
Hongbao political vexatious serial cases, a thunder bolt over the heads of the
accomplices of Zhang Hongbao political vexatious serial cases. Whatever new
schemes CCP may come up to counter-effect the result of “small offence, no
contest”, they will be useless. The final goal of CCP’s executing act and
China-US legal exchange will not materialize, either. The dust has settled.
Ever since Zhang Hongbao entered USA, he has been struggling to survive in the
adverse circumstances that CCP has been trying to arrange for legal trade with
US, trying to extradite Zhang back to China. Yet all this adversity only
manifested Zhang Hongbao’s high spirits. Let’s wish Zhang Hongbao will keep his
cool and manage his serial cases well. We believe all these will become
important historical documents.
