Mr. Zhang Hongbao Fully Deserves
“World Peace Achievement Award”
Author:
Zhang Jie
Since June this
year when Mr. Zhang Hongbao was entitled as “Hongbao Great
Bonze” by World Religion Hierophant Hall and World Religion Federation,
and was granted “Honorary Director” of World Religion Federation and the highest
Honor Award Medal, Mr. Zhang was again regarded as orthodox “Kourin Great
Master” and entitled as “Honorary Great Bonze” by Japanese Hong Guan Dao and was
granted “World Peace Achievement” by World Religion Federation, in order to
praise him for his outstanding work in the holy field of world peace, at the
35th Anniversary celebration of Japanese Culture Promotion Association in Tokyo,
Japan, on Dec. 2nd. As this news spread, it will be a great thrill to people who
are nice and honest, and they will cheer, smile and send their congratulations;
whereas it will be a huge shock for those who will definitely jump up to attack
innocent people. All these will only show that Mr. Zhang Hongbao is a great
figure that attracts the attention from all forces, good and evil, in all three
Jie: Heaven, Earth and Human.
If all these titles of Hongbao Hierophant, “Honorary Director” of World Religion
Federation, the highest Honor Award Medal granted by World Religion Federation,
orthodox “Kourin Great Master” and “Honorary Great Bonze” are the recognition
and appointments in the field of Qi-gong and Religions, we can say that, “World
Peace Achievement Award” is an accurate recognition and appointment to Mr. Zhang
and his achievements in the full-scale societal background. From this, it is not
difficult to see that even though the world is filthy, the Buddha still keeps
her eyes open forever and people long for kindness. Eventually, good and evil
will be accurately and solidly recognized.
Since the day Mr. Zhang Hongbao came out in public, he has uttered his great
wishes: benefit the human society; save the masses in three Jie; wish human
society a fairyland. It is this infinitely beautiful and peaceful grand wish is
in agreement with Tao, millions of wise people came under Mr. Zhang’s banner in
a short time.
When millions of people share the same state of mind, the strength it displays
can make a society prosper, can topple a dynasty. It all depends on the key
person’s aim and behavior.
Mr. Zhang Hongbao has laid out the basic principles for Zhonggong people who are
spread out among all classes in Chinese society and they are “Eight Virtues” and
“Eight Principles”:
Eight Virtues:
High achievements, yet no arrogance; High-ranking positions, yet no abusing for
personal gains; Honored, no conceit; Setback, no depression; Facing a fortune,
no greed; Facing opposite sex, yet no lewd ideas; Treating people, being
tolerant; Doing business, being devoted.
Eight Principles:
Respecting teachers, and pursuing truths; being courteous, and agreeable; having
a sense of team; being efficient and effective; being patriotic and law-obeying;
being disciplined and keeping confidential; being thrifty and good at
home-managing; being faithful to promises and principles.
He also laid out the standards for Zhonggong people in their daily practice:
“The lower standard is to benefit oneself and others; the middle standard is to
benefit others and oneself; the high standard is to benefit the others only, not
the least for oneself.”
He also laid out the “benefiting the world” goal for Zhonggong: bring health to
the world, bring hope to the world, bring pleasure to the world and bring
strength to the world.
This alone guides the huge wave of Zhonggong people toward an upbeat, peaceful
and rational, and progressive direction.
And he set up three standards for Zhonggong enterprises: “Legally establishing
an entity; legally managing an entity; legally protecting an entity.” These
standards make it possible for Zhonggong enterprises run smoothly in different
regions all over the world and benefit the local people.
These are the Zhonggong people that Mr. Zhang has trained and these are the
Zhonggong enterprises that Mr. Zhang steers.
Yet, in China which is ruled by dictatorship, Zhonggong phenomenon is seen as
“competing for the trust of people against the Party”. Therefore, Zhang Hongbao
became “contemporary Sun Yat-sen or Hong Xiu Quan” in the eyes of the Ministry
of Public Security. As a result, the government started to make trouble for
Zhang yet, Zhang used the available law at that time and kept winning at court.
The highest level was outrageous and Jiang Zemin ordered field army and armed
police to encircle and suppress Zhang but Mr. Zhang simply dissolved the tension
into peace.
In 1999, CCP completely suppressed Zhonggong. Seeing over 3000 enterprises
closed down, seeing over 1000 Zhonggong cadres arrested, seeing bank accounts
frozen, millions of Zhonggong followers were anxious to hold an uprising, just
waiting for Mr. Zhang to order them to charge. Yet, what Mr. Zhang told the
followers were: “When the government is virtuous, then we’ll surface; when it is
evil, we’ll go underground.” Consequently, he guided millions of Zhonggong
followers disappear among ordinary people and he had a rational, peaceful
struggle with the government, leading his cadres.
Mr. Zhang’s peaceful act forced the CCP government change into invisible
suppression.
At the level of human world, Mr. Zhang’s act deserves the World Peace
Achievement Award very well. Think about it, with the authority, capacity and
control of millions of people at his finger tips, instead of throwing the
innocent lives of millions of Zhonggong followers into the political game, or
sink China into a bigger man-made disaster at his anger, he chose to be the
modern Mahatma Gandhi in China and performed a peaceful and rational fight, and
handed the role of terrorism to Jiang Zemin and his government.
From this, we can see that, in the aspect of promoting world peace, Mr. Zhang
Hongbao has reached a not-so-steep height; he has the kind of calmness in facing
framing, not to look to others for confirmation, not to look to others for help.
Mr. Zhang, who stands in front of the world with such poise, is like a pearl,
shining without irritating the eyes, famous yet quiet; he has that kind of
inclusiveness and detachment in facing either achievements or failures---his
height is such that there is no way to measure, and his inclusiveness is such
that it becomes a circle with no fixed radius.
Thanks to all these, Mr. Zhang turned the 444 days of prison life in Guam into
the lotus pond on his way to achieve greatness; and all the vexatious cases
manufactured by He Nanfang and Yan Qingxin which were two separate serial cases
and add up to 48 legal acts are, in Mr. Zhang’s eyes, all just aiding him to
achieve the ultimate greatness.
In today’s world, totalitarian countries feature personal ruling over legal
ruling and the democratic countries feature a dirty bunch playing legal games
for personal profits or evil goals. These two extreme acts bring out terrible
consequences in different forms and threaten human peace; therefore, the real
world peace is particularly important. Mr. Zhang Hongbao’s conformity in his
speeches and behaviors definitely mark an unforgettable milestone in the journey
for world peace.
